LifP04 pack....48V 150AH. 6AH cells.

Simply taking SxP approach pack would work in theory which would result in a 16S25P arrangement.
Gut says to instead build several smaller 16S modules (each fused) and hook those up in parallel to bus bars.
Pack maximum sustained current is 75amps (1/2C). Short bursts 150A (1C).
Thoughts?

Logical thinking says use best practice as used commercially, and build 16 groups of parrallel cells, and link them in series.

Yes, 1S groups in parallel first to get to pack level Ah

Those groups then connected in series to get to pack level voltage.

But this only applies to using wires for your intra-connections, as with large bolt-terminated cells.

If using the usual spot-welded plates/strips assembly of cylindricals, then the P's and S's are "at the same level" flowing across the same conductors concurrently.

What cells size and pics. Do you have a spec sheet new or used ? What for ? They all need to be of same voltage before assembly.

32650 LifP04 cells. New/Identical. Cells are not individually fused. Rated 6AH. Rated 1C continuous.
Total capacity 8000WH.
Non-grid-attached supplemental residence power.
Solar charged via 2KW bank of panels (surplus 60 cell). MPPP "boosting" charge controller.
Maximum 3KW sustained power draw.
48V nominal pack voltage.

Decided will not go 25P......cant find "fused" spot-welding ribbons for 32650 so will not take chance of 25P bank.....smaller "P" more palatable.
Will instead build TWO separate packs, each 16S13P. Connected in parallel.

Need 32650 spacer source.....finding 32650 spacers very expensive (even on aliaexpress) compared to 18650 21700 spacers I've used in past.
