Does anyone have any info on a vendor from China "luckybbd" who is selling Lithium batteries (among other things) on Ebay?

Well, if they *are* from China, then I'd not trust them since their profile on ebay

Their feedback shows differently, that they've been doing ebike stuff since 2009 at least, but this conflicts with their store description that doesnt' even mention them.
No idea about their actual merchandise, though--you'd probably want to do a search on their ebay store name and/or username to see if there are any hits on EV and Ebike review sites or here on ES.

So I would assume from that since their first and most likely primary sales have been jewelry and the like, that ebike stuff is totally new to them and they have no experience with it, and likely couldn't help you even if they wanted to, should a problem arise. Also, they probably don't know what they're selling, and won't really be able to answer any questions about it accurately.

Yes, I have bought 2 batteries from him: a 48v 10ah and a 36v 10ah, both work great and operate at 2C. Extremely fast shipping and good communication to me.
Has the same products as http://www.bmsbattery.com who sells them quite a bit cheaper though (I found out about that after I ordered), however, reviews on this site about bmsbattery aren't super favorable in regards to communication, deliver times or service, so you might be better off with luckybbd who is pretty much a sure and quick bet (sent my battery from china to Vancouver within 1 week of ordering).
To the above poster (sorry forgot the name), I'm not sure why you think he's from Canada? Definitely from China...I didn't see Canada anywhere on his site, unless that has changed.
Edit: @Amberwolf, sorry yes, I see on his description it says Canada, weird. Also, love the day-glo avenger!

I love my ping battery, but at this point it is overpriced and underpowered.
Your paying twice what you should for pings unbeatable service. He has returned all of my e-mails within the day, and I bought the battery from him 6 months ago!

I have Headway , Ping, and V-Power. Bidding for V-Power battery on ebay can be your best way to save a ton of money on your battery, 5-amp charger, and BMS package! I got a 48 volt 20 amp hour LiFePo4 battery plus 5 amp charger and BMS for $290 plus shipping. I chose to have it shipped fast which costs a little more otherwise you will wait a month or two to receive it instead of a week or two weeks. You also have a choice of different dimentions. I received good customer service also. Good luck!
