Hi I bought my battery from China for my kayak unfortunately I capsize and it got salt water in and blew my bms and Bluetooth but battery cells are ok where can I get a replacement for this JBD SP055002-l 120amp battery iv looked everywhere can’t find it regards chris

I wonder if that is really their manufacturing plant.
Prices are cheap, who knows. Worth a try!

Another BMS place, known to be good is http://bestechpower.com/ however they may have a Minimum Quantity Order of 2.

Well, there's the obvious--get another BMS just like the original from the place you bought the battery.

Then you can just unplug the dead one, and plug in the new one, if ti's all plugs. If there's any soldering, just use the orginal as a guide, and mark the wires and take pics of where each one goes before you disconnect it.


Then buy a Pelican case big enough to hold the battery, and use waterproof grommets for the power cables coming out of it, so it never happens again.
