Started a thread on this as my Lithium Ion battery could not be sent from china.

My bafang motor was also opened and inspected by Hong Kong customs.

Three Questions.

1 - where can I get a battery for a 48v 750w bbs02 in Holland?

2 - I am going to Japan this year. Can I bring back 7kg of new individual Panasonic cells as carry on luggage? I will build a battery with these.

3 Cheap lithium Ion cells to practice battery building with? Where to source this?

Dissapointed that my order failed as the batteries were good samsung cells - 20ah with key ignition bms etc.

Any help is appreciated as I am learning as I build my first ebike.

Kind Regards

he is a trusted seller here in the EU witch will simplify the shipping process if you are willing to make them or have someone else make them in a pack for you.

The other thing I can think of is eBay to either buy a battery case with battery's or without if you are going with the first option but this is just my opinion, let's see what other people will say about this.

Can't answer most your questions, but the ban on exporting Lithium Ion isn't by country, it's by carrier/courier. From memory, most will carry up to 2kg without issue, but only a few will carry more than that. I've had difficulty recently with DHL. Had to use Startrack instead. At least I got a few bucks back, even if it was a week slower.

Also, as far as I know, no carrier allows you to carry on loose lithium batteries in carry-on. Many won't even let you carry any spare batteries that are not in-use inside an electronic device. I know I've had a spare laptop battery confiscated.
