New user here. I have done at least 10 builds so far, mostly mid drive bafangs or rear wheel direct drive.
I’m doing a build for a friend with some slight mobility issues that makes him a better fit for a scooter build.
Requirements : Front wheel drive, looking for geared because of desired weight reduction. Must be 48/52 volt because of substantial hills in the area. 24 inch wheel. None of the cheap connectors, I hate them. Must be Bafang style waterproof connectors.
Grin kits would be an ideal fit but to me they’re pretty expensive and I would need to pay duty fees, the last kit I got from them I had to pay about 150USD just to get it over the border.
I don’t want to be too picky, I’m asking on here just in case there’s an option out there that I’m missing.
Current one I’m considering is the Ebikeling 1200w but it’s a direct drive and like I said, I would like it to be geared.
