Looking to identify a motor controller

I found this motor controller at an Amazon/Alibaba reseller for a couple of dollars the other day and I snagged it, but I've been at a loss trying to figure out what it *is* or who makes it. Googling the front number yields nothing and neither does searching the SMD. The boards appear to be fused or glued together and the power electronics are mounted to an aluminum sheet to act as a heat sink; I seriously can't tell if it's homemade or commercial. Any ideas?

do you have a link to the sale page? there might be info there that could help us figure it out.

i see a pair of jumper pads for 6s or 7s, so it's probably meant for 24v. it may even have the bms onboard, and use those two unlablled connectors near the 6s/7s marking for balance leads, or if there are connectors on the lower board it could be there near that row of resistors at the board edge.

has a connector for typical uvw halls.

looks like an onboard antenna, so probably has bluetooth or other wifi for some purpose.

i would guess it is for some small personal mobility device, hoverboard, kickscooter, etc.

could be for some motorized yard or house tool, roomba-like, or mower, triimmer, etc.

Heh, if I had that I wouldn't be asking for help ;) It's basically some rando-board that was in a bin that had a wholesale price.

I think your assessment is bang-on tho. It seems like maybe something for an RC car? It has no conventional control I can see so it would be down to that antenna- though with the lower breakout board fixed I can't tell what's on the underside.

Seems to be this one:

That sure looks like it, and explains the onboard antenna, etc. :)

If so, then this
should work to control it (not sure if there are others that would).

How did you find it?

I simply searched for the keywords "szly" (imprint on the PCB) and "PCB", the first hit had the link to www.diyeboard.com ;)
