MAC 10 sinwave controller setup problem

Hi,
I just got my mac 10 motor and connected it to an ebike tester and everything seemed ok.But the motor is lugging at low power,it gets better at max power but still noticable.The motor is extremly quiet,above 6kmh.like an bbs 02.Could it be that this problem is caused by wrong hallsensor phase wires combination? I read somewhere that the ebike tester was not a setup tool for finding hall and phase wires combinations

Doesn't sound like the Halls. Usually a Hall problem results in studdering, weird squeaky noises, grinding and other bad behaviours. Not low power.
W/out knowing more about your system, what controller and battery, it's hard to say what's going on.

The lcd 3 display has a wattage reader which behave strange.It changes a lot.At max power the wattage change all the time from about 580w-720w many many times in one or two seconds.Also the wattage is very unstable at no load.Then it changes between ca 50w -ca150w many times pr second.Also the accleration is not what i expected.I have other motors like Bafang BPM which has better accleration at the same current,the controller also get very hot.This is when using a 36volt battery and the controller is 20 amp.the controller is a 36v/48volt one,

Definately a problem.
You need to start at one end or the other.
Can you watch the batt. Voltage as you ride to eliminate the batt. BMS and main connector as the source of trouble?
Hindsight is always 20/20 they say, too bad you didn't order a cheap square wave controller from ELB as a spare to try.

I think that controller may have a problem. Last month, I bought that same controller, from pswpower. It's a KT36/48SVPRD rated 10A, max 20A. Sinewave.

I have it on a 260rpm Q100H with 20" wheel. Motor growls [strike]at low speeds[/strike] under load, but spins quiet with no load. Cannot pull more than 100W when bike hits top speed of 16 mph on 36V. I get 400W only at lower speeds. As it gets over 14 mph, no more than 50W. If I didn't have a second Q100H on a similar bike I built for my wife that could pull 400-500W (and doesn't growl) up to 18 mph I might have accepted this.

Sure enough, I swapped controllers between bikes and problem travelled with the controller. Unless there is something we can do with the P and C settings, maybe these aren't any good with high rpm motors. It's a $19 controller (+$13 shipping) after all. I guess I'll just eat the cost.

Yeah, the MAC's have a 16 pole count and w/ the reduction gearing are considered "high-speed" motors.
I seem to recall they had some problems sync'ing up with some controllers when they came out.
I think the OP needs another controller.
