Hello, I recently came into possession of a couple of motors i believe them all to be MAC-BMC brushless motors. I would like to bench test them but I dont want to blow any up. I think that they all have built in controllers . can anyone assist with what wires will attach where and to what? I can figure out the power supply wires.. but the smaller gage wires im stumped..
motor #1 is marked BMC 13450-3 600w 24v it has the power wires black/red then smaller green and brown wires another connecter has red, white , a black and blue wire are in the same connecter.

motor #2 is marked 13280-1s-02 and has the black and red for power as well as 4 smaller gauge wires white/green/black/red

motor#3 is marked Mac-bmc 12120-2b 2hp 24v and has the black and red for power and 6 smaller wires black, blue, red, brown, white, green.

I called MAC-BMC but the fella couldnt provide much info at all.. if anyone has these types of motors maybe they can give some insight thks

These motors generally have a throttle connector for 3 or 4 pins (which has grnd, a +regulated volts, an input wire to signal "more go juice", and sometimes a light); brake handle switches frequently have 2 pins-- ground and an input/motor disable pin with a pullup to + volts)

First figure out which pins ohm to grnd. then rig a plus 2.5v source thru a current limit resistor, say a 470 ohm, and with power applied to the motor, see if +2.5v to any of the non-grounded pins cause the motor to turn. then you have most of your work under control.
