This might be too bulky, but I got the room.

1/8" sheet, with holes for 5mm thick 5mm diameter Neo N50 magnets.
1/4" sheet, with holes for for battery holder.
Solder onto N50 magnets sufficient wire guage
Gorilla tape over magnets with soldered on wire, for added security
Parallel first then series

Heres a diagram

What are you trying to accomplish with this?

Yo! I tried to build an interconnect system with only wood and screws. The screw head would be in contact with the battery, and the end of the screw would be where the wire would be soldered onto. Problem is either the 26650 holders holding the cans were unlevel, and/or the wood was unlevel.
I tried in a 4P 4S setup, however instead of one piece of wood for eash side, I used 2 pieces of wood for each side and some heads wouldnt touch the cans. Maybe if i tried just one row, but I wont. I am waiting on the parts for my Transformer Welder Timer. Fasttech holders came quick this time. I posted how it took 2 months last order, this order it took a week or 2. So no need to worry about holders, I just stocked up.

I think the copper idea is better because it will mold to any contour and slope and make a solid connection.

What are you trying to accomplish with this?
- Not much, just messing around.

Step 1 ..... Get a better hole saw !
..or at least bore it using scrap board clamped behind.
