I have a bulls evo with a brose motor and a 650wh battery. It is enough capacity for 99% of my riding, but I am looking to try a 90 mile off road ride where I could use more range.

I previously designed a holder to use two milwaukee 18v batteries for an diy road bike project. I would like to use this as the range extender since it is the right voltage and 432wh, and I already have the batteries.

Where I am looking for help is wiring the battery to my bike. If I put a rosenburg magnetic connector on the external battery can I plug it into the charge port? Or do i need to remove the main battery and plug into there?

The magnetic connectors look to have small data pins, are these needed?20170222_114437.jpg20190910_222725-1200x1600.jpg

Ideally I would not like to modify the stock wiring, since its only going to be used once per year.

depending on the controller you find the bike wont run with a power source connected to the charger.

Did you ever receive any response for this question? I have a 2018 Raleigh Tamland IE with Brose TF motor. I have a 36v 13AH battery (very close to the original battery capacity) which I would like to attach in parallel to double range but I haven't figure out how to connect it.
Is the motor controller in the battery pack or in the motor housing?
