I picked up a used MBS board a while back that appears to be an older model of the comp 95x with brake kit. Above is a link to the top of the truck I have. The deal provided me with 2 full sets of those matrix trucks. I am a daily rider. My Altered M6 has several hundred miles on it to give everyone an idea how much use I expect to get out of it. I have been waiting for the summer to build the MBS but the other day I snapped my Altered in half on a 3 foot deep pit that leads into a metal service cover:( So now I have my single 800w brushed mounted on it and I plan on finishing the build over the weekend. I have one reservation. The plastic top truck. I ride A LOT. I live right next to NYC and my board is more or less my transportation most of the time. I am 250 pounds geared up atm. I see lots of guys beating the hell out of these things with 2 motors but I still have no idea what to expect. If it gives out I am screwed. Its super high danger level riding around here as it is. Does anyone have any experience with these trucks? Any comment on the all metal trucks is also welcome.

I have a comp 95 that I bought to convert. Sounds like the same board. I haven't really ridden it yet, but will be getting it together before summer time. Just at first glance I wouldnt expect the plastic piece of the truck to break. The bearing diameter is a fair size so I would expect low stress there. Mine came with 9" tires and the wheels have some wobble. I expect if anything were to be a problem it would be the wheels, and that would be more drive train alignment issues than anything else.

For 5 mother I have been playing witht the chain tension bec the chain kept on talking off. I got the idea that I should try a different tire, Which ended up fixing the chain issue. I relized that that tire had a greater wobble then the other tires.

I have been cruising for a few days now. Started poppeing curbs today. So far so good. Still going to get the all metal truck for the rear. It has been below freezing here. If the plastic top was going to break it should have by now.

I am also looking for a new set of tires. I require something with more of an aggressive tread for loose dirt. Any suggestions?
