Moped Conversion plan help and motor feedback

Hello everyone,
sorry if this was answered already, i seem to find very mixed results.
I always wanted to convert a bike to electric, especially because i have the luck of having access to a 13S9P battery already.
with time i lost track of things so for years i had to put the project aside.
Now, finally with a bit of budget on the side i wanted to pick the project back, but im now wondering whether a E-Moped would be better.
I have found locally an old Babetta (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/34/Babeta_207_300.jpg) being sold with seized engine for 170€.
Everything else looks solid. While on a bike i would have used a hub motor, on this thing i have plenty of space for the battery and a dedicated motor, i found this to be pretty cheap and with good reviews (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009416503414.html) however im wondering if its too good to be true. I see it marketed as 1000W, 2000W, 3000W, 5000W all together....

Anyone has more realistic information on both the motor and the idea itself?

Try to keep the maximum torque reasonably close to the original motor. More is okay but multiples more will break things. You can increase motor rpm by a lot without having problems, but if you do not have enough power available to use the extra rpm then the motor will run inefficiently and get hot.

Is the battery something that you recently acquired, or has that been stored for years as well? If the latter, then I’d test the battery to make sure it’s still in good shape and can take a full charge.

thank you for the reply, the battery is actually not fully built yet, i have the cells but my spot welder died, so the project got also lost in time. The cells i will be testing and rematching if needed.

thank you for the reply, that is where my doubt lies, i would not get a hub motor for this as i'd like to modify the moped as little as possible (EU law is restrictive and/or undefined as far as i can tell) so i would only change the "propulsion".
Those motor look reasonable on paper, i've seen the same ones being used for gokarts or Quads.
If the motor is "too powerful" (strongly doubt but hey) i anyway plan to get a VESC so i can adjust any and every parameter.

Im more looking for people to let me know if and what experience they have with this kind of conversions and if anyone used that exact motor already.

Power is not a major concern but only peak torque. Because reciprocating engines deliver torque in pulses, you can use an electric motor with ramped start at a somewhat higher torque without increasing stress. Find out the noisy motor's rated torque and keep it to less than twice that number whether it is the motor maximum or a settable programming parameter.
 
Decided to go with this kit instead (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005011962755215.html) as it has the same motor but with a better controller that i can reuse in case the motor bursts into flames.
I also decided i will go all-on-out and make a different battery, 3KW72V, this should give me pleeeenty of power for all my needs.
anyone with a similar project already done could provide me feedback on it?
