Motor/ESC Issue

Decided to take my board outside of the safe confines of my neighborhood today and had an issue about 2 miles in.

I was riding on a wide sidewalk next to a road that had lots of dirt and small pebbles going up a decent hill but not to steep.

My motor locked up and would no longer spin.

Not sure if I got some dirt and grime in there or if my ESC is having an issue.

Check out the video below. The motor spins freely but when power is sent to it as you can see it sounds horrible. ESC turns on but motor no longer does the chime arm thing at start up.

If you have loose or frayed motor wires it will phase out and do exactly what it's doing.

C clip = You'll need to space out the C clip from the motor mount. Add in 4mm washers or similar between the motor mount and motor. I would change this.

However it sounds like one of your motor wires is loose.

Thanks guys. It was a motor wire. Weird that happened as they were a tight fit and I put electrical tape around them. Guess the vibrations are more prevalent than I thought.
