Motor question

One of the magnets on the shail ring on the Hub not the stator but the outer magnetic ring inside the Hub has about a 2 mm 3 mm chip on the outside edge will this keep my motor from working

Nope.

Unless that chip is still inside the motor, then it can cause a short or even jam the motor.
