Mounting this Battery Box

It's a Group 27 Size.

I'd pack the batteries in foam on the inside. Use a small frame bag to carry tools.

The interior Dimensions would allow me to travel with BOTH of my 12AH batteries. And it has ventilation. UV resistant. Cable Exit Path.

So trying to figure out the best way to mount to a rack. Thinking maybe mounting this to a solid board. Then mounting the board to the bike rack. Would be great if I could find a way to mount a quick release to the box.

Ideas?

BTW: I ride bike paths and roads only. I do not go off road. I already ride with my battery on the rack so I'm used to the way it handles.

These boxes are usually flimsy plastic. Thin and brittle in the cold. They do the job when mounted to the floor of your boat.
All they do is keep out the elements and keep your battery from moving around when strapped down thats it really.
This box wont survive a fall. Look for something more rugged like tools boxes.
