Yeah it's a good one, I should watch it again its been many years.
I just finished watching the most recent season of Ozark from Netflix, I really been enjoying this Netflix TV series.
https://www.netflix.com/title/80117552
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ozark_(TV_series)

I wanted to find a Netflix show that wasn't full of extreme SJW/Virtue-signal themes where everyone having an orgies after business meetings etc.
For me Ozark has been it for me, it still has regular level of "SJW/Virtue-signal themes" with gay FBI partners and a 19yo man having sex with a 70yo woman etc but overall it hasn't been deeply disturbing compared to other Netflix shows.

Overall I am so used to seeing sex orgies in Netflix shows/movies that instead of being shocked anymore my brain is now programmed to just skip 30seconds and move on and forget about it, I guess the argument it's all about deliberately desensitizing the public and making it seem like normal behavior is true, I don't think that's healthy personally.

The kid didn't know his stuff but he brought it up anyway. It's referred to as the Paramount Case but the government had antitrust suits against all the majors. Emphasis on MAJORS, if I had the money I could make movies, distribution them myself, own my own theaters to run them. But the major studios engaged in threats and intimidation to make theaters take their films from their distribution companies or they'd build one next door, that went for them selling when the studio decided they wanted it. Amazon currently has no problem buying their own theaters and their own distribution markets.

But what indeed will Amazon do to take on more power?

Antifa will be at your house shortly for watching those old racist movies. But don't you just wish you could go on a tour bus and see some of those places in those movies?

These are both short.

Watched the last 3/4 of Zodiac with Robert Downey Jr, Jake Gyllenhaal, and who I thought was Matthew Perry but he's not listed.

So these guys had I'm not sure anymore, I think more than one crowdfunding to make a 'Star Trek' fan film. The stories ranged from $700k to close to $2 million raised, total. And Paramount went to court to keep them from making their fan film. They'd made a short that was a teaser for the main film, much was anticipated.

But Paramount won. My understanding this is the only fan film they ever took legal action on. Because there were so many people on both sides of the camera with small yet REAL Star Trek experience? Because they were selling merchandise for a FAN FILM? Because they thought the early promos looked THAT GOOD, while the about to be released 'Star Trek: Discovery' left something to be desired? There are two ongoing series on Youtube of this. One is 'The Never to be Made AXANAR. . . .' and the other is the LATEST trailer, as in this month's latest. I guess he has to keep promising to keep the crowdfunding, eh? They are actually kind of interesting if you're into film making.

These were Hollywood professionals, it shows. There is so much of this test video from it out there that is stunning, beyond what I'm finding here. Except they weren't going to make a great story, it was going to be a war movie, spectacular battles, etc., plot was in doubt.

Before you watch this, the rings of Saturn are larger that a normal gas giant. Jupiter is larger but has smaller rings. But read all the text on the screen.

I recently saw some of the original episodes of 'The Beverly Hill Billies' that I guess weren't a part of the syndication package when I was growing up. Jethro was apparently supposed to have been a BIG 11 year old, Miss Jane was the evil bank officer while Mr. Drysdale was more the 'Excellent Valet.' Not sure why Mr. Jane became the loyal secretary but I guess there's more to do with Jethro if he can date Sharon Tate.

I swear that pilot looked like they shot it in a day without a script.

Oh, there is a TV show thread. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=53639

Johnny English Strikes Again was pretty good tonight. Mr Bean and all, pretty hard for him to do cameo's but for his movie sure why not.

The Midnight Sky
On Netflix

Wish I had skipped this one. One of the stupidest movies I have ever watched. I don’t want to spoil it for you, it can do that all on its own. The music couldn’t save this movie. Zero stars from me.🤮
