Hi,

I recently finished assembling my first E-bike, my initial excitement faded away when I noticed strange behaviour from rear hub motor. When I add throttle power, casette is wierdly "dancing". Motor is similar to Mxus 30h.

Sadly we don't have any ebike service centers in Iceland where I live. So I'm on my own. Shipping costs off Island to nearest service center be big chunk of engines value :(.

Could you help me diagnose whats wrong with it and If I can fix it on my own ? I would really appreciate your help.

Most likely the parts inside the freehub are machined off-center; it's really common with freewheels, though the freehubs I've had on regular bike hubs have not had that sort of issue.

Not much you can do about it.

Thankfully, the wobble itself doesn't really affect operation of the pedals (or the motor), unless you're using a singlespeed drivetrain without a tensioner.

The sort of clunky noise the motor makes without the cassette during each revolution would worry me more--it could be a bearing issue, or something inside the motor (on the stator) rubbing on the casing (rotor), or the wheel (or tire) rubbing on the frame or brakes, etc.

Thank you for your answer. I will try to ship it to seller for warranty. Have a good day !
