Hi guys,
Ive used this forum a bunch for my diy extreme budget old scooter conversion (300 bucks for everything), you guys are legends.

I'm at what I hope is the last hurdle my Super socu batteries:

I got them both for less than 100 dollars because the scooter sharing company stopped in my area.
I hoped that they would just simpely work when I soldered on some xt90 connectors, and the charging does work! but when the controller (votol em30s) draws more than 0.4 amps the power cuts out, and when I turn on the scooter lights it does the same. those are independent from the controller so it would make sense to me that the battery knows that I have hooked up aftermarket parts because im not using the normal communication wires anymore.
So first main question: Does the BMS of this battery only work with super socu controllers, using the communication wires?
And if thats the case, how can I bypass this?
I had 3 idea's.

If we can solve this it would finally be done!!!
Thanks in advance!

- Fysically Bypass the BMS for powering the bike, so no BMS for driving and only using the BMS for charging (Id need two plugs).
Im not sure how safe this would be though. - Buying another BMS and replacing the super socu one.
Only problem here is that it would be more expensive, and the grey balance leads plug looks weird, so I dont know how I could connect those. - Somehow trick the BMS into thinking there is a valid controller connected.
No clue how to do this, but if someone knows it might be the easiest?
If we can solve this it would finally be done!!!
