Hi ,

My Bafang G062 motor will not work anymore due to a "Motor Sensor Fault!" . It seems that this
is the Hall sensors or the Hall sensor board failing . To be sure it was just the motor , I replace the wheel
with an older wheel that had a G060 motor . Everything worked fine with the G060 wheel .

I believe what I need is a "YF-7.0-V04" board .

I've attached a pic of the board .

I've made several attempts through the seller , bafang , and other sellers to get this part , but
I've had no luck .

Does anyone know how to get this part ?

Not all G062/G62 labeled gearhubs are the same. Yours looks similar to the ones sold by ebikes.ca, you might check with them. If it were me,... I'd probe the components w/decent DMM first.

Also,... (ebikes.ca) Troubleshooting - Learn (How-To links for checking/replacing hall sensors).

Verified G62 170mm from Grin - ebikes.ca (mine)

I contacted ebikes.ca and they only carry pc boards for GMACs .

When I get time I guess I'll try and pull the board out and use a DMM to see which sensors are bad .
However , never done this before and I'm not exactly sure what readings to look for .

The investigation will just be a learning exercise as I've decided to ditch this motor . The old G060
750w wheel is working rather well . I upgraded the bike to a 60v 40a controller and 60v batteries when
I originally got the G062 1000w. Currently , the G060 is running so well with this setup that it seems
that I haven't lost any of the performance of the G062 .

I probably maxed it out when I once hit 38 mph (on flat ground). I'm afraid of pushing 2400 watts through it
for more than 5 - 10 secs . I'll stop once in a while and feel the motor for heat . It never seems
to get too hot if I stay in the low 30s or below on PAS 3 .

I still have the feeling that I might push it too hard one day and burn something out .
So , I ordered a ECells 5 Star . Once I get that , then this will become my backup .
I'm sure that , unlike Bafang , I'll receive ACTUAL customer service if something goes wrong
through ECells . I'm sure the Hentach motor will much more reliable as ECells touts it to be .
