I have the stock 46T chainring, but I want to upgrade to a new one. There are sizes from 30T, to 52T, and I have no idea what size I should choose. Can someone please help me pick the right one?
I love accelerating and going fast, but I don't need to go faster than 40-50 km/h. I Pedal a lot with PAS turned off, so its important that the chainring doesn't make it too difficult to pedal without help from the motor. My donor bike is a 8x2 and had a 32T and 50T chainring, it was about right for me. A little higher gears would be ideal. I never used the 32T cog. Since I used the 50T cog, If I go for the 48T or 52T chainwheel and turn off PAS, will pedaling feel the same as it used to on my original bike?
