Purchased a BBS02 with 48V 10 AH battery from elifebike.com, however I did not get one wired up to go. Wondering if someone can help explain the wiring on the battery and charger. Received the pack shrink wrapped. There are a black/red in a black sheathing and yellow and red in yellow sheathing. The black and red are listed as the power, I get that. What the heck are the yellow and red in the pack. Battery is listed as a 48V 10Ah LiFePO4 Battery 16pcs 38120 Cells ebike battery pack with BMS at http://www.elifebike.com/peng/iview.asp?KeyID=dtpic-2011-71-46QC.4R1VJ . Is one set for charging and one for running?

It also comes wiht a Mebo 58.4V/5A Li-ion charger with an RCA plug power port. Charger doesnt have a connection for them.

Assuming that I will need to have a harness from the charger to the battery and the battery to the BBS-02. Switching them back and forth based on what I am doing. Hoping a few can clarify this before I light up the neighborhood like a Christmas tree ornament :).

Lol seasons greetings!

I think you guessed right. I used some pretty crazy connectors for first test (alligator clips, wirenuts, tape etc), and now use 5.5 bullets for power connections. Assuming you need some connectors? -Andersons are nicer though, and solderless I think.
Russel's right, I found the same picture to pass along.

Have fun and let us know how you like the kit!

Actually the link you provided has a picture that tells you what the wires are for:

Red/Black to controller +/-
Red/Yellow for charging +/-

Thanks for the help. Yes I am a moron :). Thats what all the engineering degrees got me!

Thanks they came with the Anderson connectors I think. They looked a little sketchy to me. Have not used those before. Would you just suggest cutting off the RCA from the charger and installing them in its place? I like the hobby king bullet style form my lipo days. Also wondering is it recommended to disconnect from the BBS02 during charging with the separate cables or is that a non-issue?
