Can't have a paper trail, you know. ESIS (Endless Sphere Intelligence Service) is strictly a you-pay-for-everything operation. Perhaps that's why our agents feel they can slack-off on their reporting requirements, working at a paying job instead. The reward comes from knowing your positive role in the bigger picture. :)

Alright, Chief here's my report:
I was captured by Kaos agents Wife & Kids right after work ... finally excaped their clutches at around 10:30PM. By 12:15AM I had the kit fully installed on agent44. I had a moment when I switched on the battery, the power lights on the throttle came on but the motor did nothing. Finally switched the controller from the 'on' to the 'off' position and everything was working. Yup, the switch is reversed. After taking the dog for a walk, I went for a short ride - about 3 miles. Nice - at 36V20A it's not enough to power up hills at speed by itself but combined with moderate pedalling on my part it works great. I have some final adjustments to cable routing and to my brakes to make before any long ride.
I installed the brake levers that came with the kit. I think it's a good for safety to have the brake inhibits in case I get a stuck throttle. The levers aren't the greatest - they feel a bit loose in their housings. But they work just fine.
I have a few pics in my cell phone that I'll try to upload in a bit. Can't do the cover off pics until I have a bit more time and can find my 3mm hex wrench.

posted a few pictures over in the photos&video area. BTW, I meant I took my dog Sage for a walk. She 'took the dog for a walk' in the euphamistic sense.

Now that's the way to begin a report and hook the reader!

Looks like a "Bionx" motor to me also, the cooling fins and slim shape.
But my motor cannot be opened, you have to "unlace" :) the wheel to split the motor open. 240mm, or 9-1/2 inches is the dia of the Bionx motor, BTW.
