So how long from you placing the order did the hub arrive in the uk? I am thinking that maybe it's here but I am not aware either even though it's only been a week since I made placed the order. What company actually makes the delivery is it parcel force, royal mail or some other courier? Thanks

I am wondering the same thing now. I ordered on 27 April, the money was taken from my account on 4 May but I still have not received my motor. :( :( :(

Crystalyte Europe are rubbish placed my order over a week ago and have had no response from them. Not impressed at all. No tracking number no confirmation just to let one know that's is been dispatched.

They dont contact you ever. I had to call them (Belgium number) to get my tracking number to find out that the shipping company tried to deliver it 10 days earlier but "forgot" to leave a card so i never knew. My motor was sat in a local shipping warehouse for 10 days :( They are easy to speak to on the phone and did give me all the info i needed in the end but their lack of communications skills especially over email ( i emailed them 6 times over 2 months and did not EVER get ONE reply!) has lead me to make the decision not to purchase from them in future.

Well I placed my order on 11th April. The motor was attempted to be delivered on 15th April Just 5 days later. I chased them on 22nd April to find out that the courier which is GLS (GLS UK deliveries are handled by Parcel Force) didnt card me at all :( What makes it even worse is that Parcel Force didnt have my GLS tracking number on record. I had to speak to the customer services to find out the parcel force tracing ID because they give it a new one once it goes on their system. Took me about 30 minutes on the phone with Parcel Force to sort it out. Eventually got the parcel redelivered on 26th April.

Hope that answers any questions anyone might have had... if you need any more info just ask :)

wow, that is good news, there is hope for us all yet :) If the quality of their communication matched or exceeded the quality of their products then they would be onto a winner, my HS3540 is a dream :)

Gave them a ring yesterday after a week from placing the order. Was informed that the wheel hasn't been posted out yet as it had to be made up rim etc but would be posted out today. I informed them that I would like a tracking number when it's posted today but still nothing. Not very impressed at all would rather buy from the USA. Can somebody start selling decent ebike gear in the uk as I'm sure there is a big demand for it. Tempted myself even though I'm kind of new to the ebike world.

I just had my first HS35 laced into an atomlab GI rim and my wheel builder said that these hubs are by far the best balance and spacing compared to all other types of hub motors we have dealt with. They also look darn good.

Still no email confirming my order from crystalyte Europe. If anybody is thinking about buying anything from these w_nkers, don't bother. You will be in for a long wait, no correspondence and a phone bill to pay for after trying to sort the crap out. Stay away from them

Well I have not yet received my motor :(

I have my controller, throttle and batteries but not motor.
The last update on the tracking was on the 17th of May:

Seems like a really long pause on the tracking there Planky,

Strange thing happened to me too. Straight after my last post telling everybody what I thought of crystalyte Europe I received an email off them confirming me that it's posted off and even included a tracking number. Let's see if it sits around in the system like others on this forum. Says it's still in Belgium at the mo and no further update....

Can anyone point me out to a place in his thread or a link that has the actual exact outside diameters of each of these hubs...also the thickness of each one...

I am thinking about constructing a fiberglass rim custom for one of these/several of these motors...or even carbon rim :D

yes sometimes there is no update but you receive it suddenly. I dont think the tracking always works on the websites.

isn't there another european seller except crystalyte-europe for HT/HS motors?

electricwheels.de

see his previous posts in this thread - they are trying to "upgrade them"... but i never ordered anything from them.

Skype was bought by Microsoft. If i lose my job, i will start selling those, you will have a benefit of low 15% VAT tax - probably lowest in EUROPE :D

The ol' guy received his from Dr. methods, and I am learning to wheel build the hard way. If it helps anyone out, a 2X cross in a 24 inch wheel with this motor won't make it due to spoke angle at the rim. Will let you know if 1X cross works in a week or so.

1X cross work well

if you want 2X cross, than you can buy the equivalent motorcycle rim of the 24"

the motorcross have the angle acceptance for angled nipples holes.
plus they are stronger and can take bigger than 12 gauge spokes

Doc

do you know any proved motocycle rims and tyres that would work with 20''?

Hi, I picked up my HS35 from ilia's ebike shop. He was excellent laced up and check this picture.

I put HS35 on top of the Topeak bag and traveled 38 miles round trip.

Hi extremegreenmachine - No This is just for my commuter to work daily, I was going remove my 9C motor and put on my girlfriend's new ebike. I still want the agni motor with 500A controller for the race.
