My brothers kids have a Jetson bolt pro 36v ebike and the old controller crapped out.
I found a new one on Amazon with a lcd screen and hooked it up a few days ago. It worked great.

Now after about 10 miles of use, if you go on the throttle and let off the throttle and the on the throttle again it will vibrate/make a weird noise from the controller.

I have no clue what the heck it’s doing and I’ve been through every setting on the controller with no luck.

Any ideas?

I think you'll figure it out once you remove the covers. Sounds like something isn't tightened down and the vibration of the rear wheel as it goes from being assisted to coasting and deaccelerating is making something bounce around.

What killed the original controller? heat?

Replaced the controller problem solved

The noise ended up being some kind of pulsating feedback from the rear hub created from an on/off throttle application.

So far the kids have put double the mileage on the new controller and no issues. So hopefully it’s all good now!
