Just came across this on youtube, DJI the famous drone/camera brand has made an ebike motor/system with impressive specs.

DJI Avinox Drive System - Powerful and Compact E-Bike Drive System - DJI

They release the motor on amflow bikes, which looks like is some sort of sister company from DJI.

Amflow eMTB - Experience the Ultimate Ride (United States)

I'm a DIY Bafang guy myself, but this bike looks absolutely amazing and all the tech that comes with it.

(I'm not affiliated to any of this, just an ebike enthusiast)

It is retail offering so its not... really.. that powerful. I would garnish to wager.

No one lists a SINGle spec either when they talk bout it. Just buzzword like "touchscreen" ad " long range" and " powerful tork" and other meaningless metrics.

6-800wH is not " long range" ... 1.5hr to 75% SOC charge is not " fast charge... " for comparison.. I hold 2100wh on my bike. I can charge in half an hour at 50A ( 2C) or an hour at 1C ( 25A). ( ( input 3x more watt hours per hour than this DJI " fastcharge"...) I dont need " blutoof connectivity" costs and i dont need " 800 nits sunlight readable " display LCD polarizers...

... and if you are building a >750W ebike... might as well make it 1kW? no.. no.. noh... make that shit 10kW. Pls, DJI. We know you can.

Also, typical retail DJI battery is proprietary and costs about 10x $ / wh ( so like.. I pay 1 cent per watt hour, you pay 10c per watt hour.. who has more watt hours...) than rather what I use.. and lasts 1/4 the lifespan.

Interesting to hear they've entered the game.
I'm betting this is quite expensive.

It's ~1lbs heavier than the lightest bike mid drive and seems to have slightly less or maybe equivalent power.
It looks like it has helical gears throughout and will probably be very quiet compared to the lightest, so that's an advantage.

I would expect it to be locked down to hell and difficult to obtain as a DIYer, your only hope ( if you can obtain one ) would be to rip out the controller and replace it with some high RPM equivalent, IE a VESC.
