you mean to have both shifters on the left? I have 3 cogs on the front as well...
 
No I meant if you wanted to use the rear gears you could put that shifter on the left. It would twist the opposite direction but it would work. Or you could just use the front rings. Only thing is the rear cogs shift smoother than the fronts. Like I said I just leave mine in high gear now but I don't have any hills. I actually put my thumb throttle on the left. It rotates opposite of what it should but I am used to it. Lots of ways to do it. You'll probably end up trying different setups.

Now to pick a battery pack case+rack. I'll probably start a thread for the batteries+case/rack, but any suggestions?
I want to be able to go very far if I have 30+ miles at 20mph?
So I would like to get a 36V20Ah battery. But Ping is expensive when you count in the shipping.
I talked to Lau Chan who said $450 shipped. What do you guys think? I am thinking of getting one of those slide-on topeak bags/rack, will I have any problems fitting the batteries in there?
