thanks for the link patrick,
very interesting story.
bit worried about this though, too much press like this and they will crack down hard.good job mine is 36v paralell

"Meanwhile, 72-volt bikes that are as big and powerful as motorcycles are alarming city governments. They have been banned in the southern boom cities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai.

"When you have these things whizzing along in the bike lanes at 60 kilometers an hour, it's getting a little dangerous," Roberts said.

"They are known as the 'silent killer' because you can't hear them coming".

cheers

The only reason prices go up is because of Greed! Just like the gas companies. They can only raise them so high before I get a trailer and just by marine/deep cycle batteries or one big 12 volt marine battery and use a DC-DC converter to raise voltage, thus buying less of their overpriced little sla batteries.

It's amazing they only get just over a year service from these lead anchors. For double the price you get 3 times the use and 1/2 the weight with other chemistries.
Which leaves room for extra batteries to OVERVOLT of course :)
Maybe they cannot get credit as easily in China.
