Hello i'm Steven from Rome - Italy and i'm an enthusiast owner of tsdz2 350w; i remain very hit from the open source fw for this motor and i would like to convert the motor into it.
i bought 1 lcd3 and a new 8 pin cable motor controller from PSPW.(i want to mantain the old system ctrl + lcd5 intact)
i have flashed the lcd3 in 5 minutes all ok.
There is no way to flash che motor controller!.....i cannot establish the connection with the eprom of the ctrl and i always receive the msg: Cannot communicate with the device!
i have also tried to solder the programming wires directly on the right color cables on the ctrl speed cable...still no communication!
i have bought a new st link usb key that look very different from the other.......no communication problem still remain!
last test done....i have tried to read the eprom on the original motor ctrl that is installed on the motor (is 6 pin cable motor ctrl) connecting from the male of the speed sensor cable......but i receive also in this case the no communication message with the device.
is clear tht the problem is in my hand because two different usb key, 2 different motor ctrl (6 and 8 pin) and always the same problem.
i need to try with another different usb key? will be the 3rd...!
really i don't know. :?:
if someone has an idea pls let me know.

the cables programming between usb keys and speed sensor connector was too long!!!!!

i've used a 15 cm cable and now all it's ok!!!
