Hey Everyone,

I have a 5304 with a 26" Off Set beed rim, I had originally spoked this motor with 14awg spokes from ebikes. When i spoked the rim and trued it i noticed that spokes on one side were tight and the other side was loser;

-Do i need to use 2 different lengths in spoke to do this properly?

*******************************************************

I would like to re spoke this motor into a 24" rim; Problem is i was not able to find anywhere a OSB 24"; the only size i could find was 26"

-Could i use a standard 24" rim (NOT OSB) and just use 2 different size spoke to true it to the center?

X5's in 24 or 26" rims i've laced, had to be 1 cross and very little dish possible once you put the tension to it. You compensate for the dish factor by spacing the axle with shims as much as possible.

On a standard bicycle hub, having one side a bit " looser " is ok, but on big fat monsters you want all the spokes tight as can be..

Crystalyte does not understand dishing.. you get 38 spokes of equal lenght.

Hey Ypedal

Do you have any tutorials on how the hub should be laced in my case? I can not dish the actual motor where the drop outs are; there just simpaly isn't any space; Here is what my bike looks like atm;
