The video doesn't show a speedo output, and perhaps they don't mean to say he went 120 kph in the video. Maybe that's the unloaded wheel speed or something. What do you think?

I'm a bit skeptical... doesn't look like he's doing 75MPH in that video. I know *I* wouldn't want to go that fast on a bicycle, especially one with a chain drive on the motor. I can't imagine the drivetrain lasting long under that kind of duty (nor the rest of the bike). There was a fatal motorcycle accident here in Atlanta a couple years ago where the guy was driving down the interstate, his chain broke, flew out, and severed his leg. Motorcycle chains are fairly shielded, nothing like how exposed it is on those bikes.

Of course, on the other hand, the guy that posted that video said he wasn't wearing a helmet. Perhaps common sense doesn't apply.

the speed 120kph? so far... I also don't know. We all got to wait one buyer who own 2 cyclone 1000watts motor and try it out with his speedometer. so he will share his experience and tell everyone about the real speed it can come from 2 motor. I have own cyclone 1000watts motor single, to run 64km/h is easy gear 7t x 44 x reduce to crank 24t x 28t. it is too soft to pedal with our cadence. so the Double of 1000watts motor is running 7t x crank 44x crank 44x rear wheel 24t OR 28t. that will double the speed from 64k/h x 2 = is likely to clock 120km/h. As for the real answer - ?? it is better to wait for one owner of double 1000watts motor kit. (please take note:- (single motor) crank 24t x rear wheel28t already can produce 64km/h , now the double x is going to be 44t x 28t /24t)

going a speed of 65km/h is already too nice to feel on a straight road. Our bicycle chain KMC / good brand can handle 1200kgs of tension pull, so i think it is okay. But got to replace them every few thousands of running. 3000km ? Dangerous ? it still got to depend on the rider himself. some of my collages can speed his bike 140km/h in normal express way. Speed limit is only 70km/h. that day he ride so fast and past me, - i say to myself => he is 100% Nuts , surely he will...... (i keep quiet) then i ride as the speed limit goes... To my surprised. The 100% nuts rider 900cc really went to knot another motorcyle rider. getting a cyclone kit for 900watts is very good enough for daily use for transport+ safe enough+ chain won't burst + battery size is acceptable+ LONG range also. Chain needs to be taken care and replace them every few thousands. I think the double 1000watts motor kit can clock 80km/h. How far can a 48v 20hr run ? So going a bigger voltages 72v or 48v 40hr - the size must be Big + bluky + Cost $$ higher right ?+ so big battery how to put on a small bicycle ?

everything we do - must all suit your choice. battery weight? , cost$ ? , range - how far ? finally it is the beauty of your creation. too big battery in size, got to find a new place how to place them nicely - a very important goal. ebike TOP speed 55km/h is the most ideal one.

It requires an absolute minimum of 4x the power to double speed. More often 5x the power, and if you begin to create odd turbulence it can easily reach 10x the power needed to double speed.

I do 64MPH on all the straight sections with my bike. Even after the re-gearing, I'm still gear limited rather than power limited. I have no doubt this guy could be doing 120Kph if he has adquate cooling and battery.

Regardless of whether the rider hit 120 I still think the video is totally awesome. Wished he had a rear camera to capture the expressions of all the motor scooter and car drvers. Not everyday they would get passed by a bicyclist at such speeds
