Parallel batteries

I have two 48v 13 ah batteries and I'm running them in parallel, I was wonder is the amp load shared between both? :flame:
 
Short and simple answer is yes. There can be very small differences in load sharing depending on pack resistance and maybe some other factors but yes, they equally or nearly equally share the load if they are both the same manufactured battery.
 
once you try to do 3 or more the imbalanced wear becomes more critical

Really best if the paralleling is done at the lowest 1S level.
 
It may also depend on the BMS. I had 2 40 volt packs that seemed to take turns taking the full load.
