Parallel Series

Hallo boys i have a question, i have 114 cells A123 26650 2300mah, i need to create a 125.4V pack, 6.9A...
The question is:
Is better create 38 series of 3 cells in parallel, like 3cell connected together to create a single cell 6.9a, and after connect this big cell in series for 38S...

Or create 3 parallel of 38 cells in series?

make your parallel connections first to get the Ah's of your pack, then connect the parallel packs in series to obtain your required voltage.

Paralell first is best. But you could do it the other way if you had a good reason to. For instance, you wanted a very small ah pack for some reason. But mostly you just complicate things by series first, because then you need three seperate bms. Paralell first, and one bms is all you need.

That reason doesn't matter of course, if you plan on no bms.
