PAS assitance failing?

Hey,

I have a three level PAS 30% 60% 100% pedal assist that was on the fritz and then stopped working altogether.
Whats strange is the cruise control on it still works as well as my throttle.

Any suggestions??

It sounds like a bad connection from the PAS to the controller.

Did you want it to work? PAS is more PITA if you ask me.

It's obviously not critical but a pit of an annoyance.

I'll check the connection again, but I did before and didn't see anything wrong.

Is it possible that the sensor to sense angular momentum to kick in the PAS are faulty?

If the magnet disk at the bottom bracket moves too far away from the sensor, then you get intermiitent function or total non-function. Have a look and see if you can move it a bit closer. If you can move it closer and it works, then think of a way to keep it there. A couple of dobs of silicone sealant between it and the chainwheel/pedal should be enough.
