Pick a bike with BIG FLAT REAR DROPOUTS

What about a two piece clamping style TA with the top clamp mounted to the disc brake mounts and the bottom clamp bolted to the top?

Lotta ways to skin a cat. There is a TA thread someplace with a ton of good solutions. That one could work.

I show this picture a lot since it worked so good for me. The big flat dropouts on this bike allowed me to simply bolt a piece of strong angle iron to the dropout, after positioning it and drilling holes in the frame.

This is the main point of this thread. A big flat dropout area on the bike allows a ton of flexibility compared to a bike with a tiny dropout plate, or one that looks like a piece of lace with so many lightening holes.

I don't know if you have seen migueralliarts torque arms but it kind of looks like what you want, there pretty cool.
