Some of you may remember the Pi bike of a few years ago. A pretty wild frame design with a pretty wild price tag. Well it seems like Marcus Hays, who worked on the EV-1 team, has not given up and has gotten the price down a bunch to within the $2500 bracket. Still not cheap but there are other bikes in that price range for sure. http://pimobility.com/

Nothing earth shattering as far as the motor goes it looks like but the inframe batteries are custom and there is mention of a 2 spd hub on the site but not alot of details. The girl in the vid is not above running a stop sign also.

the video did not flatter the bike much IMHO especially at the very end where she tells the negatives:

-completely rigid

-thumb throttle is in a weird place

and then sighs, and says "the price we pay for beauty" tells me your paying for that arch, not the rest.

i agree with the negatives she said, here are my negatives:

-cant use most standard attachments

-only 20 mph top speed...some may not care about this...i just want a little more

-still cost a lot at $2500

-replacement parts will cost a fortune

still, there is something neat about it, but not what im looking for
