Does anyone have a ping battery LiFEPO4 that is more than 48V, e.g. 60V, etc.?

How would you charge such a battery?

or would I have to get two batteries, something like a 64V, 32x 10 cells, and 32 x 10 cells, two packs, and two chargers?

Does that seem about right, then hook the two up in series for 64V?

a lifepo4 battery is called a 48V battery if it is 16 cells in series. which ends up being 59V when charged to the top. a 48V nicad is fully charged at 56.4V. a 72V lifepo4 pack is fully charged at 88V.

does that help? your charger has to put out at least this amount of volts to charge the pack up.

thank you for your post

the issue is finding a charger that can charge above 48V for LiFePO4
does it exist? is there a 60V charger?

yes, you can look in drbass's 1800Watt thread for the ecitypower link and batterybms website. they have very cheap prices for lifepo4 chargers, with the output voltage set to 58.4V for charging a 48V lifepo4 pack, which gives each cell 58.4/16=3.65V the magic number for a fully charged cell.
