The front forks were never designed to take the loads imposed by any motor so adding some form of torque arm shouldn't even be a question. The failure mode has much bigger implications than the time/cost to fit a torque arm to the bike So just fit one.

Sure you can get away without one on a low powered motor but there is a lot of variables so much safer to just fit one.

Okay, thanks! Is there a guide to make your own torque arms? as I really don't want to pay shipping to the UK from anywhere.
