Hey!
I am completely new to these with electric bikes and have a couple of thoughts.

I have for a few days a Batec Electric 2, an electric front wheel that can be mounted to a manual wheelchair turning it to be like an electric bike https://batec-mobility.com/en/products/handbikes/batec-electric-2.
What I wonder has to do with the display but also the speed.

The display shows the usual such as trip meter, speed, etc. They are also lights for three different speed modes/gears (on the right) and reverse gear, headlight and indicator for battery (on the left).

Is it common for several lamps to shows dimly when the motor has resistance (when it uses a little extra power) or is something wrong?
When I accelerate, drive on a hill, etc., the lights for the reverse gear, the headlight and the fastest gear light up. It shines dimly but still. More visible in dark.

Then I wonder about the "Menu".
There are two buttons where the one on the right allows you to change the Trip Meter, total distance, hours, etc. Nothing happens on the left button, but if I hold down both I can choose whether they should be displayed KM/H or MPH. It also comes up c2445 where I can change each digit. Maybe they are unique for this "bike", but what could the numbers be for?

And then one last question.
According to the supplier, the maximum speed is 25KM/H, but the one I have is limited to 15KM/H.
I found a post on this site how to go into the electrical box and change the speed. There are three screws (one for each speed mode/gear) that you can turn to change the speeds for each mode, and then increase the maximum speed.
Unfortunately, it was never written how the end result was.

So, can I destroy something electrically if I turn the screw or is it just to turn until I get the speed I want.

Hope someone here knows a little more and maybe can give some answers.
And sorry if I write poorly in English, it's not my first language :D

(In the picture you see the starting position at the top, the middle when there is a fault on the electricity (?) And the picture at the bottom shows the numbers in the "Menu".
Also adds the picture of the three screws that change the speeds in the electrical box)

No idea myself but can you contact BaTec directly with your questions?
And change the title of this thread to something like "Please help with Batec controller" to get more help from people who know this system.
Good luck!

I have written to them but not received an answer yet.
I thought there were similar features on other electric bikes, but I change the title :thumb:
