I need some help this is my first ev conversion. I bought a heinzmann Pms 126 motor and acd 4805 controller. And I can't find any information on wiring it up. It's got 2sets of phase wires marked 1,2,3 and a 7 wire cable from the motor. The controller has B+ B- U, V, W and a 23 pin plug. Any help would be appreciated or a link to a sight that might have the info.
Thanks msgod

trying to post a pic but says file is to big. HELP PLEASE

The 4805 controller looks very similar to the Sevcon Gen 4 but the amp plug is 23 as apose to 35 and no B+ fuse mount on top. It's prob made by Sevcon specificately for ACD?

Wires 1 and 2 and 3 go to U and V and W respectively.

You have a Danaher controller , the ACD4805. Understand that it is going to output about 2kW to the motor. Zapi controllers have taken over; evs-inmotion.com deals with new controllers. Go to the Heinzmann website and dig in their downloads and you'll find diagram for wiring the ACD4804. They run pretty nicely....

If there's a password problem, Heinzmann will give you access. Write to their info or contact address. There's plenty of detail there.

Only 5 of the motor controller wires are needed. A 5 megohm potentiometer at Radioshack is all you need to vary speed. The controller is pretty smart, and won't power up the motor if you happen to have it on full speed.
