Our Factory has tested a slew of packs they purchased from China and without mentioning specific brands, none of them passed a three month testing cycle. They start out fine but fail in under 3 months of continuous cycling of the packs.

This is significant data on the long-term viability of Chinese Life that many people have been looking for, and it would firmly support your pricing structure for the Taiwanese LiFe, so please tell us more.
Can you document the details of some of these results so that we can clearly define the failings of Chinese LiFe? If it is an across-the-board problem, then the brand names are not significant, the results would be more than enough. Things that come to mind:
How many cycles were executed on assorted packs prior to failure?
Was the failure cells or BMS?
How is failure defined? <gradual to 80% capacity, or sudden/catastrophic (describe please)?
What charge/discharge loads were they tested under?
What were the capacity/configuration of the packs tested?
When did the 3 month testing period end?
Be Glad to: Monsoons in Taiwan & Independence Day is over now so we will be talking to the factory tonight and I am requesting a more detailed report from their engineers on the tests they conducted. The 3 month test period just ended last week. Look for a meatier report to be posted here by Friday. 8)
Best,
