Polymorph (low temperature thermoplastic)

Not sure of how much use it would be to us since it melts at such a low temperature, but looks like it would be neat to play with. :D

LOL, love the molding of the Darth Vader action figure  in the PDF.

Gasp! can't stop laughing about the dog turd shaped flashlight. Drop it in my backyard and you'd never find it again.

That could be handy stuff. The negative mold aspect could be used to make parts that are no longer available. Cleaner & stronger than wax.

Looks good for prototyping, the low melt temp is tricky for anything permanent.

I'd be wary of using it for thermoforming... drop a hot sheet of plastic onto it?

:D

I used the same stuff - different brand name- to take molds of my forks and dropouts to more precisely lay out my torque arms and plates. It REALLY helped get things right the first time. I only messed up on the parts I DIDN'T use it on.

Several other things I plan to use it for, but haven't gotten around to yet. The only other thing I have actually gotten around to doing so far is making ergonomic handles for some of my hand files.

For instance, You could use it to make an instrument holder to put on your handlebars, if you live in a place where it doesn't get hot and super sunny.

If I had a ton of it, I'd use it for lots of stuff around the house and shop.

It really is cool stuff, but in my garage it would be a liquid most of the year. Definitely better than clay or wax for a lot of fabrication things. Am I the only one that thought the torch looked like a turd?

I have to admit, lotsa stuff looks like shit to me. In construction I'm amazed at what looks just fine to other people. To me it looks like monkeys got loose with hammers.
