Is there anyone who can explain to me why this gasket suddenly comes out from the crank? I have mounted engine exactly according to the descriptions. After driving about 40 kilometers, so escapes this gasket from 8Fun crank on the left side. I have a brand new 8Fun BB-02 750W / 48V motor only has driven about 40 km.

I have tried searching on the internet if others have experienced the same problem, but without any result. I have also tried to find an exploded drawing of the engine that explains where this gasket should be placed. I also searched this as a spare part, but it does not exist.

Can anyone answer me whether it is harmful to the engine to run without these gasket? Can I Possibly use some replacement, if it can be obtained?

It doesn't look anything more than a bearing dirt protection, I don't think this is something really necessary. Maybe anyone has any further info.

After reading most of the posts in this thread, it is confirmed that there are major problems with seals and bearings.
