I fitted a complete kit to my folding Ebike
I eventually got it up and running. All seems good apart from the power cuts in and then cuts out completely for a few seconds and then back in. It’s not smooth.
if I very slowly rotate the pedals, much slower than my speed it helps a little.
The kit shown was complete inc
Display
Controller
PAS
And speed sensor.
don’t have room to fit the throttle

Speed shown is a bit faster than actual speed. 12 miles against 8.5

There are not many adjustments but this is its settings.
P1 Wheel size 20”
P2 Motor Magnetic Pole 46 I think this is default and I don’t understand this one.
P3 speed detection signal yes or no Set to yes or the speedo only works under power.
P4 MPH of KM

The display is hard to find any extra info on. LCD 800

Any ideas please.

Are you using the throttle speed control or pedal assist when the motor cuts out unexpectedly? does it make a difference?
Is the battery fully charged whats its voltage? an off the bike meter reading of battery voltage is generally more accurate.

the pas sensor magnet ring may be out of alignment or loose on the crank? dble check everything is plugged in correctly and no cable ties are pinch cutting into cables.

if safe to test, disconnect the brake cut offs at the controller socket to rule out errors and false positives/shorts in the cables sensors (highly unlikely but if not tested first..) again unlikely, but a loose brake cable may allow a brake lever/sensor to 'open' over a bump??

does the display blink out too or remain on ? any errors or changes in the display when the motor cuts out such as the brake indicator??

Thank you
I will double check connections
battery Fill and not very old
PAS is new and close
Power goes low when it cuts out and then it come back.

Thank you
I recheck snd report back.,

Power goes low? do you mean noticeable voltage sag or drop? if so by how much? this could indicate controller low voltage protection??
