I have a Prodeco Phantom x2. The rear hub is loose in the axle. I do not see any way to tighten it, other than taking the hub apart.

Has anyone had experience with this? I dont want to tear it apart only to find out theres no way to tighten it down.

Thank you

When you say "The rear hub is loose in the axl", do you mean it has side-to-side play and/or wobbles? Assuming the axle nuts are properly torqued, it sounds like a bearing problem which would require taking the hub apart.

I'm not familiar with the prodeco specifically, but from pictures it looks like a basic 9c rear hub motor.

I have it apart. It does not appear to have any kind of adjustment.

The axle has a lot of wobble, and the coils move with the axle.

I am just worried about riding it like that. I dont want to do any damage.

I think Im just gonna use another hub that I have. I just hope the quick connect is the same wiring. Should be, there is 3 big pins and 5 small pins. Hopefully the colors are all the same.

Tread carefully, I wouldn't assume they're the same color coding. But, they can be mated - read and use this:

If it doesn't spin at all or turns roughly, back off on throttle to avoid controller damage until you find the correct Phase wire & Hall signal combination.
