Here's the Davinci scooter I originally picked up during "re-use round-up" or whatever we call it. A free scooter from the road side trash that I fixed up and sold to a neighbour, who gave it to someone that eventually gave it back, not working, with all the plastics broken and cracked. I stripped it down and decided to drop 10x 8v Nissan Leaf modules + 150 amp bms into it which required a little frame surgery and plating. The project is not quite finished as the seat is currently held on with a bungie cord, but proof of concept has shown to be very successful. This scooter shall fear no hill! I can now rip around town for about a 1.5 hours and the battery voltage barely drops. Looking forward to testing out the actual range, but with the 80 amp JRAHK sinewave controller and a battery pack that can finally out power the controller, acceleration is amazing. I also upgraded the useless rear drum brake to a disc with large 4 piston caliper and Mitas tires to help control the new speed and power levels.

now this is a battery. No cutting corners at all (but it looks a bit boxy because of engineering dominating the aesthetics)

My plan is to fabricate a seat mount and enclose the battery to clean up the visual. Need to keep it steathy in case Johnny Law gets curious...
