Quality spokes cut in UK .... Next day delivery!

Just had to share this with others here from the UK.

The guy that runs the place is amazingly helpful, Graham is his name.
I first spoke with him just before May Bank Holiday to get a set of spokes. Thursday morning, 0830, phone call. I e-mailed, he said 'phone me with payment details'. I did and he had the spokes posted by midday. If it were not for me being in Jersey and the long holiday weekend, the spokes would have been with me next day.

He had Phil Woods spoke machine and also does lathe work for those other odd jobs that almost every other bike shop would not even know how to do.

I needed some spokes for a HT 35 in to a Sunringle MTX33 rim this week. In conversation with him, I have also come away with a ' new old stock ' front disk 36 hole hub for £5, the spokes for that front hub too, and a free left hand friction shifter FOC.

Highly recommend. If you use him, tell him Neil from Jersey put you on to him, I said I'd advertise his services I was so impressed with his service.

Hi Neil, I have recommended Graham on here too, I have had many sets of spokes from him and always had exceptional service. The spokes I bought where stainless Sapim with oversize nipples for moped rims, quality stuff!

Sapim strong 14 gauge are 60 pence each, so yes if you want cheaper go with Newsonsportec in China..and expect to wait 6 weeks. Their spooks are cheaper and lower quality...but I have done 10, 000 miles on their spokes on my 5304 100volt 14kW Mongoose..so they are good enough, but I'll be using Graham for all future orders unless cost is an issue.


To cap it all he is a really nice chap to talk to, and happens to use a similar Casio programmable calculator I have used and programmed for my spoke calculations.

I can back this up too, i have had two sets of black 13 gauge sapim spokes made by Graham and they arrive really quick. I have them laced into a magic pie with a mavic mtb down hill rim and they are excellent. I was given his phone number a couple of years back. Top quality. 8)
