Hi guys

I have a old claud butler fitted with a 48v 1000w hub motor, the batteries are turnigy rc batteries so Im not a newbie so to speak.

I am about to buy myself a bmx and want to run it with a road legal 36v 250w motor but dont like the idea of it being front wheel drive which seems by far the simplest conversion, are there any ways to have the rear hub fit the dropouts and have a single speed sprocket?

Ive not actually seen a rear wheel drive hub bmx yet? :?

A steel frame can be bent out to 135mm. So make it a steel one. It can also be possible to use a single speed freewheel, and cut the axle shoulders a bit narrower.

I'm not postive you can cut it down to 110 mm though. You'd have to measure the actual motor to determine that.
