Rear wheel not centered, is that a problem?

Frame is FUTR Alpha, wheel is QS 205 in 19" rim with Shinko tyre.

My wheel isn't centered in the swingarm for some reason. I asked someone and he said it was probably fine as long as the wheel isn't actually angled. What say you? Is there something that can be done or is it fine?

The spokes need to be 'dished' to center the wheel. As long as it isn't rubbing, it really doesn't matter much.

You might get enough wheel flex if you ride hard to get it to rub, but yeah, either the dishing is off, or the swingarm is.

A dishing tool is pretty cheap to buy or easy to make.

The two biggest things it affects are rim brakes (which you don't have) and handling in turns is slightly different left vs right, because the track of the rear isn't centered with the front.

But you probably won't even notice it, depending on your riding experience and the rest of the handling issues with the bike vs what you have ridden before.

Frequent issue seen on most ebike builds, due to squeezing wide motor axle into tight swingarm space and wheel dishing.

Pretty easy to dish it just losen all the spokes on the right side of the bike 1turn and then tighten the left side spokes 1turn. Repeat process if needed

So its offset in reference to the the centerline of the swingarm, or front wheel? And not tilted/skewed? As long as there is no wobble, it should be fine.

Like someone else mentioned, you might notice it turns sharper in one direction, but it shouldn't be a huge issue.

If those aren't the same thing, then the frame isn't built right. ;)

If it bothers you.... Try More spacer washers on the right axle and less on the left, this may help a little. also try tightening up the dropout bolts in different sequences.
