Hello,

I changed a China SUNRA LMJR scooter with 3000W hub motor and 10 "tires to a Sabvoton SVMC 72150.

When driving, both under part load and full load I have from time to time such a strange creaking from the engine, sometimes, but not always. This is definitely an electrical noise, sounds similar to starting up or recuperation, but is not very loud and you only hear it, if you drive on a very flat road, otherwise the rolling noise etc. is louder, therefore I have it in the beginning not noticed in the city.
You can also feel is somehow in the butt .... it is definitely nothing mechanical ...

Have already tried various things: hall-angel at various values around the measured 64 degrees changed (no difference), this strange engine parameter (Current loop kp) changed from 300 to 1000 to 3000 (which seems to have something to do with ist, but not completely gone?), motor poles from 27 to 16 to 24 to 30, etc. tried (no difference), according to this plan https://www.elektroroller-forum.de/download/file.php?id=4423&t=1 tried different versions of the wiring (no difference) ... etc.

What could that be ? With the cheap original controller, these sounds do not exist! Would have expected a sine wave controller rather less noise ...

That annoys somehow ....

BTW: how can you safely determine the number of motor poles without disassembling the motor on? I think, I measure 27 Hall pulses per revolution, but is that the number of motor poles?

today I tried it again with a SSC7280 Controller… it’s the same, very strange noise.

Whats also very strange: If I use the same wiring for the SSC7280 as for the SVMC72150, with SCC the motor spins backward, but with the SVMC forwards ???

I made some Videos of the sound, but in reality it sounds deeper:

The motor is named 72V3000W190300508 with the Name SINE on it.

I played around with the motor parameters, when I change the Current loop kp from 300 up to 3000 it get's better, but is still some noise there.

How to solve ?

Regards
Holger
