Hi people's
I'm harvesting a bunch of Samsung 22P cells & I see a couple of differences;
The first lot had suffixes STI & IB72
Second lot, SDI & IF34
Can anyone explain these numbers & what they mean?
Are the 2 batches compatible?
I tried a search of ES, but I'm no Amberwolf & found Nuthin.

SDI are cell made in Korea. SDIEM is Malaysia.
1F34 is production date, 1 = 1st version, F year = 2015, 3 = month March, 4 = day of month could be 04,14 or 24th day.

STI I don't know is it a typo ?
1B72 suggests 1st version, 2012, July 2nd, 12th or 22nd,

Wow Hemo, thank you so much.
I checked the cells and yes, I stuffed up. they're all SDI.
I suspected the suffixes were date / batch codes but I don't how "F" is 2005 / 2015. I get how "B" is 2002 / 2012, second year of the decade but "F" is the sixth letter. Wouldn't that be 2006 / 2016? Am I missing something obvious?
Where did you get that info, or is that a trade secret?
I have 2 types of packs I'm re-using. Both are 7S 4P packs but one type is 235 Wh / 8.5Ah ( 22P cells ), the other is 291 Wh / 10.5Ah. I'm not going to break down that pack but use it as is so I can't see the cell info but I,m guessing the cells are not 22P. Would that be right?
Thanks again for your help mate.
